I love this mix! It tastes good, it's easy to make, and it's easy to modify. I've tried it with cinnamon applesauce in place of some of the fat, I've tried it with Chinese five-spice blend, I've made thumbprint cookies with it--it all turns out great. The cookies even still taste good when I burn them a little bit, which is sadly not uncommon because I'm no good at baking and my oven is temperamental. And when I make them plain just following the instructions, they go great with coffee.
